Culver City has historically been known for its motion picture and television production. It is home to Sony Pictures Entertainment and Culver Studios. It has nearly 40,000 residents and encompasses approximately five square miles near the I-405 and I-10 freeways.
In the past 15 years or so, Culver City has embarked on a revitalization project that has attracted a vibrant artistic community offering live theatre, music and dance, as well as a burgeoning array of restaurants and merchants.
